A team of volunteers from Triland Metals Singapore have stepped up to the challenge of helping housebound, elderly people. In conjunction with TOUCH Community Services, they will deliver regular meals along with fresh fruits and beverages.
In pairs, eight Triland staff will make 50 deliveries to some of society’s most vulnerable people. They aim to provide nutritious and satisfying meals, as well as helping to reduce the social isolation many people feel when they live alone.
