For over a decade, East Sussex-based charity Taylor-Made Dreams has been supporting the lives of local families with children facing life-limiting illnesses.

As part of our 50 Acts of Kindness initiative, we proudly donated five tablet computers to this incredible charity, which supported the close friends of Triland’s Marketing and Projects Coordinator, Joshua Elliot.

Working with Taylor-Made Dreams, they highlighted to us a need for more accessible technology. The tablets we donated will help to support and build their digital lending library. These devices pair with ‘Skyle Eye Tracker’ systems, enabling non-verbal children to communicate with their caregivers using only eye movement.

“For those who still have good levels of communication, tablets are often requested of us by the children as there is so much entertainment they can get out of a tablet, be it videos, games, video calling their friends and family, we very often have these on the children's wish lists.

These tablets have made a significant difference to our technology loan library and massively reduced our waiting list for those requesting a tablet” – Dave Richardson, Taylor Made Dreams Fundraiser.
