In our New York office, John Ervasti has been inspired by the great work being done by his squash club to support under-privileged students. He is working with CitySquash New York to set up a Triland Metals CitySquash College Scholarship fund.

Financial hardship is a leading reason why students from low-income families drop out of college. While nearly all CitySquash students qualify for comprehensive financial aid from their colleges, there are still meaningful financial aid gaps that can make the transition to college prohibitively expensive.

Awards will be used for things typically not included in college financial aid packages like textbooks, meal plans, travel to-and-from school, study abroad and student loan reduction.
